Gotei Remnants

Organization Description: The Gotei 13 was once a force of spiritually powered beings known as Shinigami (and in some cases, Vizards) who were completely devoted to defending all worlds from the threat of the Hollows and the Espada. In the height of their power, they had some 500-1000 powerful members who each had places in one of the many branches that gave the Gotei it's '13'. That dream has since been destroyed, after millenia of being largely unharmed internally. Their defenses crumbled and their society brought to its knees by a no longer present regime of the Espada... They must now Rebuild.
These are the remnants of the Gotei. Their remaining Captains have been tasked with consolidating the branches to what would make sense, so as not to spread what remains too thin. Their primary objective of protecting the worlds has been replaced by a rather humiliating one; survive. The other is still on the list, but the Gotei Remnants still need to take care of themselves and their people first and foremost, which has lead to strained relationships with the other factions that they might have otherwise been friendly with.

Joining The Gotei:
Have you just gotten your shinigami approved? Well then you've come to the right place. Below is a list of all the currently held positions. If a position is blank that means an NPC holds it, but that NPC hasn't been created yet. But not so fast, before you obtain a position, you need to know what positions you're eligible for!3-1 tier and below - Supporting force.
2-5 tier- Emergency VC. Can also hold Sub-VC.
2-3 tier- Vice Captain tier.
2-1 Tier- Vice Captain with Bankai, future Captain
1-4 Tier- Emergency Captain. Can also hold Sub-Captain.
1-3 tier- Normal, new captain. You get the point.
To Apply, simply state your characters name, Tier, and position they are applying for.
Headquarters: The Gotei Remnants are located in Soul Society. The shinigami operate in a place called Seireitei which is surrounded by a powerful barrier of Sekkiseki stone which creates the Shakonmaku. This specialized barrier can prevent infiltration. Dense enough reishi structures CAN break through, although the resulting vortex it would create makes it a dangerous means of entry. The Shakonmaku also prevents dimensional transportation techniques from opening inside of it's barrier.

1st Division: The Crown
The first Division is the seat of the Captain Commander. While this was once the Gotei's center of order, and still is for the most part, it now remains the driving force of the Gotei. Those in this division protect the Captain Commander and carry out his or her will, being in a sense, hands and feet. This division also has priority over all the others, and if an order is issued to another division, be it 1, 2, 3 or otherwise, it is expected to be followed.

2nd Division: The Sight
The 2nd Division's primary job is to observe and protect the Seireitei, Rukongai and all nearby associated areas through the tools that they have access to. While they have also taken on the old 3rd's duties of gathering intel and the like, they still have the Maggot's Nest to keep watch over. They also act as messengers to other divisions, though this duty would likely fall to the lowest ranking members.

3rd Division: The Future
The 3rd Division is what remains of the Gotei's healers, greatest minds, scientists, and those who were formally in charge of purifying souls. In some weird way or another, these divisions come together now to pool their efforts, to protect each other in times of need, and to serve the Gotei to the greatest of their ability. As a side note, they also control the Dareshokairo and all the knowledge held within.

4th Division: The Armory
The 4th division is responsible for being the might and force of the Gotei. Their job is to support the other divisions internally with their skills, which include Hakuda, Zanjutsu, and Kidou. They can be sent out on missions, but will usually occur alongside other divisions.

5th Division: The Core
The 5th is largely responsible for duties that involve the Seireitei itself, from producing any sort of media/entertainment or otherwise to protecting key denizens, the Captain Commander not excluded from that... to the entirety of the Seireitei itself. If something should happen, and the walls of the Seireitei are breached, these are the Shinigami you see first. Most often, this Division works with the Second, to identify any potential threats.

6th Division: The Edge
The 6th division is responsible for making sure that all entry and exit is logged, preventing certain entities from entering, and dealing with threats as necessary. This also includes the duties of the previous combat specialists, being the roughest of the rough. They're generally unhindered by the other branches, but will still accept orders most of the time just because it's fun to pummel people.
